Music Ministry Our accompanists, choir, and music director lead congregational hymn-singing in the morning worship service and present choral compositions that use the God-given creative art of the lyricist, music composer and arranger that would not otherwise be heard - music of praise, testimony, gospel message, and scripture. All music in worship is intended to glorify God. All voices are needed in the choir. The requirements to participate are to be a follower of Christ and ability to learn the part; no audition is required. Rehearsal is from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. on Sundays. Choir activities are suspended during the summer, and planned to resume after Labor Day in September. Contact Larry Fink if you have questions or would like to participate.
Deacons (suspended - administered by Elders for now)
Women On Mission (WOM) The purpose of the Women On Mission ministry is to educate the church body about missions and to offer opportunities for the church body to take part in local and world-wide missions. Meetings are currently suspended.
Good News Club The Good News Club is a weekly after-school Bible club at Pine Tree Elementary School in the Kent School District. The club meets on Tuesday afternoons for an hour. No transportation is provided so each family must arrange pick up for their child. The hour-long club starts with a snack time followed by a Bible story, songs with actions and a missionary story. The materials used are from Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF). CEF provides the insurance and background checks of the adult volunteers.
